Gorgeous Scenery from Second Life

It's technically not a game, I suppose, but Second Life is a huge online "thing" and I suppose we should acknowledge it as part of the gaming world. You can outfit your avatar with clothes and fashion and all kinds of things and then go interact with other avatars. There are roleplaying sims for Star Wars and Star Trek and Steam Punk and Dystopias and historical and fantasy lands. Then there's also content creation, where you can learn to make houses or furniture or clothing and actually sell it to other residents for real money! Yes, people actually make their real life living in Second Life, so I guess we definitely should point out that this is a "game" you can play, but at the same time it's so much more.

Anyhow, here's a short video (or machinima as it's actually called) of a gorgeous Second Life avatar standing in a gorgeous sim, which is short for simulator, which simply refers to the piece of land you happen to be hanging out in. I'll get more of these and post them in the future if you like them!

If you're interested in playing Second Life, go here.
